Months since procedure

I was a little nervous before the procedure, and actually rescheduled one time, but when I was about a week out, I wasn’t nervous, I was excited to start my new journey. I received my scale, and I was 377 pounds. The facility in Tampa was amazing and super clean! The doctor came in and explained the whole process. The nurses were also amazing and explained what they were doing step by step. After the procedure, I was a little weak and loopy due to the medication, but I was feeling ok. The next day, I had the IV treatment and started to feel a little better after that. I got everything I could to set myself up for success! I followed everything to a “T” with water, electrolytes, popsicles, proteins, etc. I have found many different people in the Facebook group who have been able to explain protein/calorie ratios, and I’ve also found many new recipes to try.

This tool has helped me not overeat and eat what I should. I eat more slowly now, choose healthier options, and look forward to new recipes I can try. I weigh myself every morning because I like to see the progress on the website, and it helps me see my progress.

I am now 4 months post-procedure and down to 285 pounds from 377 pounds. I wish I had found this years ago, but I found it now and took that leap, so I can be on a healthier path in life!

I also appreciate the team I’ve been talking to from the beginning of my process. I would recommend this to anyone I talk to who’s on the fence about it. Also, don’t listen to some people who say they haven’t lost anything or that it’s not worth it. I’m very happy with the results I’ve had. I’ve also kept on weighing my food, kept a protein-first mentality, and I feel so much better and am ready to hit my next goal of 250 pounds since I hit my original “ultimate” goal of 285 pounds in 4 months. Good luck on your journey, it’s well worth it if you stick to it!
